This was shot on a long shutter, 3.2 seconds with aperture of f/4 to put the map on the wall out of focus (the map on the wall is upside down, the body of water turns the image the correct way up). The decision to use a darkened room was purposeful and meant less unwanted reflection on the glass globe from light sources.
